Timeline of Michael's Career


October 2000- Michael begins taping of his first professional magic video to be sold at his live shows

January 2001- Michael is accepted into The Society of American Magicians and The Society of Young Magicians

April 30, 2002- Michael meets and chats with his inspiration in magic, David Copperfield

July 2002- Michael comes in second place at The Pikes Peak Jugglers Annual Competition

July, 2002- Michael continues being booked for many shows, earns reputation as being the most often hired magician in the city

May 3, 2003- Once again, Michael meets with David Copperfield

August 2003- Michael is chosen as one of three young magicians to be given a full tuition scholarship to Tannen's School of Magic in New York City

October, 2003- Michael begins doing magic broadcasted on his school's TV news station, KDHS, before thousands of his peers

December 2003- Michael completes his first national magic tour through five states, visiting many auditoriums and theatres

March, 2004- Michael debuts his second video entitled "Michael Collins: Street Magic" in which he performs miracles for random spectators, the video receives wonderful reviews

May 8, 2004- Michael is the youngest magician ever to drive completely blindfolded through the streets of the city, getting him on many local TV stations

May 20, 2004- Michael is handcuffed and sealed in a mailbag, by an officer of the law, only to escape seconds later, before hundreds of thousands of viewers on live TV

June 27, 2004- The first official Michael Collins web site is up and running!

November, 2004- The Colorado Springs’ Gazette Telegraph publishes a story on Michael’s career

January, 2005- Michael meets with MTV producers, discussing a possible network magic special
